She was born in Aliceville, Kansas on December 12, 1926 to James Curtis and Lela Burrell, the first of 5 children.
She had 4 brothers, Claude, Jim, Bill, and Floyd. When Mary was 5 the family moved to Idaho.
Marj met Duane Webb while in High School and they married on December 12, 1944 in Dillon, MT. They moved to the desert west of Rockford and began farming.
There were 3 children born to Marj and Duane, LaDean, Rodney and Nancy.
In 1965, the family moved to Sterling, Idaho. Duane preceded her in death in 1969, he was only 49 years old.
Due to declining health, Marj moved to Midvale, UT to live with her daughter LaDean in 2010.
She is survived by two daughters, LaDean (Richard) Montague and Nancy (Lynn) Smith; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers, James "Jim" Curtis and Floyd (Florence) Curtis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Claude and Bill, husband Duane and son, Rodney.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Lakeview LDS Chapel under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be in the Springfield Cemetery.
