Racine - Dianne B. Rice, 76, passed away at her home on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. Dianne was born in Kenosha, Dec. 22, 1939, daughter of the late Eligio and Milla (Nee: Falcioni) Bianchi.

She grew up in Kenosha and graduated from St. Catherine's High School in Racine. Dianne went on to graduate from Marquette University with a B.S. in Liberal Arts. She worked as a Spanish, French translator for JI Case and owned and operated Bianchi-Rice Translations. She traveled much of the world. Loved to read, yoga, music theatre and loved to play Chopin on the piano. On Nov. 29, 1975, she was united in marriage to Robert G. Rice. They made their home in Milwaukee and Racine. Volunteer work included the food pantry and teaching English to foreign people. Dianne was employed by J. I. Case Company for several years. She was a member of St. Mary's by the Lake Catholic Church.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of forty years, Robert; her brother, Dennis (Barbara) Bianchi; her nieces, Nicolette Bianchi, Carmen (Brett) Stubbs; other relatives and many dear friends, especially Janet Kuhl, Sally Nelson, Pat Keating, Grace Kuemin, Bob and Judith Walther, Fran Mendes, Matt Andersen and of course Yum Yum and Hobo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Bianchi and brother Lee Bianchi.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, 11 a.m. at St. Mary's by the Lake Catholic Church, 7605 Lakeshore Drive, with Rev. Stephen J. Stradinger officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Town of Dover. Memorials to St. Mary's by the Lake Catholic Church have been suggested. A special thank you to the caregivers at Bright Star and Wheaton Franciscan Hospice for their love and compassionate care.
