HUMBLE — Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Mitchell, 68, mother of Mrs. Rayfield Latson of Galveston, will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Luke's Baptist Church here.
Burial will be in Westfield. near Humble, under the direction of Clay and Clay Funeral Home,
Houston.
A wake was held Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mitchell died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in Ben Taub Hospital. Houston.
She was born Feb. 28, 1903, in Fort Bend County, and had lived in Humble most of her
life.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Latson and Mrs. Willie Mae Washington and Mrs. Mary Brown, both of Humble; two sons. James B. Evins and Wilbur Evins, both of Houston; and a number of grandchildren
