Jeanne Gray was born in Atlanta. She grew up in West End, and graduated from Girls High School. while it high school, she played the violin and also played with new formed Atlanta Synphony. She attended Peabody College and graduated with a degree in education. She was a kindergarten teacher, a trainer with Teacher Corps and a facilitator with the Atlanta City Schools Follow Through Progeam. After retirement she and her husband, George, moved to St. Simons and enjoyed retirement.
