RASMUSSEN, CATHERINE E. "KAY," 89, of Okolona, passed away Friday, August 12, 2005, at Wesley Manor McCandless Center.

She was the former Catherine Cunningham and a native of Warren, MA. She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church, St. Rita Booster Club and the Okolona Womens Club.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John F. Rasmussen.

She is survived by three sons, John M. (Donna), Robert C. (Barbara) and William J. (Cathy) Rasmussen; daughter, Patricia E. Emly (John); five grandchildren, Lynn, Julie, Bobby, Mindy and Melissa; and seven great grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass will be noon Monday at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Highway with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Louisville.
