Gussie Rosamond (Blint) Berger was the daughter of William Augustus and Helen M.(McClarin) Blint. She was the 1st wife of Wesley Albert Berger. They had three children: Phyllis Maxine, Helen Jane and Ardell. Wesley died February 5, 1968. Gussie died at the Elk County General Hospital. She died of accidental death due to being struck by a train at Johnsonburg. Her death certificate was signed by Dr. Augustine C. Luhr.

BERGER.--Gussie received a terrible injury to her hip, and both ankles and her feet were crushed and broken. Although there were no marks on her head, it is claimed death resulted from a burst blood vessel in her head.
Funeral was conducted at Rolfe Methodist Episcopal Church.
