Eva L. Rogers, 70, of Walkerton, Indiana passed away at 8:31 a.m., Friday, February 5, 2016 in her home. She was born on February 20, 1945 in South Bend to Samuel and Violet (Brothers) Glassburn. Eva had formerly been employed as the Manager of the Little Ceasars Pizza in Plymouth. She had also worked in home care for seven years. Eva is survived by five daughters, Evalou Rittenhouse of Vandalia, Michigan, Tina Rogers of Niles, Michigan, Sabrina Sheets of Orlando, Florida, Tracy Rogers of Gainesboro, Tennessee, and Heather (Christopher) Blunt of Winamac, Indiana; one son, Ronald J. (Holly Oleda Greenlee) Rogers, Jr. of Walkerton, Indiana; seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Violet McKenna of Starke County, Indiana, Christene Glassburn of North Liberty, Indiana, Nancy (Gary) Strong of Plymouth, Indiana and Gail Glassburn of Niles, Michigan; and one brother, Roy (Helen) Glassburn of Kokomo, Indiana. Eva was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Glassburn; and four brothers, Vick, Vern, Jerry and Ralph Glassburn. Funeral Services took place at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial followed in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Visitation was from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Eva enjoyed watching soap operas, ceramics, and latch hook. She loved animals, especially dogs. Eva loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
