ROSEMARY BLAIR MEESE, age 88. Wife of the late William L. Meese; mother of Michael L. Meese of Cleveland Hts., OH., Jeffrey B. Meese (Anne) of Denver, CO., and Douglas N. Meese (Julie) of Cleveland Hts., OH; grandmother of Patrick, Nathan, Jacqui, John, and Alana.
The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to St. Christopher's-by-the-River Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 519, Gates Mills, OH 44040. Memorial services will be held at St. Christopher's-by-the-River, Old Mill Rd., Gates Mills on Monday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m.

Meese of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Jeffrey B. Meese Anne of Denver, Colorado and Douglas N. Meese Julie of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Dear grandmother of Patrick, Nathan, Jacqui, John and Alana. From 1943-1945 Mrs. Meese worked for Bell Aircraft in Buffalo. She moved from Buffalo to Cleveland in 1947 when her husband Bill took a job as an art director with the Cleveland office of BBD&O. When Bill started his own advertising art business the William Meese Advertising Art Company in 1954, Rosemary worked as his secretary until her retirement in 1982. Rosemary was known as an enthusiastic and fun member of a variety of groups, including the Gates Mills Community Club, the Gates Mills Improvement Society, and the Chagrin Valley Country Club. She and her husband participated with the Gates Mills players theater group. She also loved to embroider and was involved with an embroidery group which met for over thirty-five years.
