Glenn A. Curtis, 94, Shawano, died on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Shawano Health Services, Shawano.

He was born on December 13, 1921 in the town of Morris, Shawano County, the son of the late Donald and Augusta (Bublitz) Curtis.

On August 22, 1942, Glenn was united in marriage to Lola Breitenfeldt. She survives.

Glenn was baptized at the Tilleda Lutheran Church and later in life was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wittenberg. Glenn had a milk route and then worked as a carpenter for Rudolph Hanson in Wittenberg for 30 years. He then was employed as a mason for EG Hintz of Shawano until his retirement in 1994. Glenn and Lola enjoyed traveling all over the United States. Glenn was known for his large garden. He enjoyed feeding and watching the birds as well as following the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include his wife, Lola of Shawano; three sons, Allen Curtis, Wausau, Larry Curtis and Jay Curtis, both of Tigerton and three grandchildren, Crystal (Todd) Bishop, Rib Mountain and Douglas and Greg Curtis of Weston.

The funeral service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Rev. John Hielsberg will officiate. Interment will be in the spring at Union Cemetery, Tigerton. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
