Jim Owen, 67, of Cleburne passed away February 5, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born March 25, 1948 in Fort Worth to Jimmy Gene Sr. and Janetta Kathryn Duckett Owen. He married Debra Ken Dawson in Midland, Texas.
He worked as security for 10 years and was a police officer for 18 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Cleburne Masonic Lodge No. 315, a member of Scottish Rites in Dallas and Lane Prairie Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Owen; children, grand children, brother, Mark, sister, Melinda and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be February 8, 2016 in Lane Prairie Baptist Church. Burial with Masonic rite will be in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery.
