Allen Lawrence Wohlever, 61, of 527 Furnace street, who was stricken with a heart attack last night at his home was pronounced dead on arrival at Elyria Memorial Hospital shortly after midnight. he was born in Amherst September 21, 1891, had lived in Elyria for 40 years, and was employed as a tool maker at the Western Automatic Machine Screw Company.
Surviving are his widow Harriett P. Wohlever, one son, Richard B. Wohlever of Elyria; two daughters, Mrs. George Vinsick of Elyria and Patricia Ann at home; five brothers, Paul and Robert of Amherst; John of New York City, James of Elyria and Lee of Ridgeville; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Pitts of Chicago, and Mrs. Florence Schroeder of Lorain and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home where services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, The Rev. Fr. James M. Gallagher, pastor of St. Agnes Church, will officiate and burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
