Helen A. Bechtold, 88, of 21 Packer Ave., Whitehall Township, died Friday in Sacred Heart Hospital. She was the wife of John K. Bechtold. They were married 64 years last October. Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Mager) Parker. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Catasauqua. Survivors: Husband; sons, John W. of Walnutport, Charles R. and William T., both of Northampton, Robert F. of Orlando, Fla., and James H., Richard A. and Ronald D., all of Whitehall; daughter, Maryann, wife of Bruce Warmkessel of Allentown; sisters, Mrs. Melba McClaffer-ty and Mrs. June Gruver, both of Allentown; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Helen Elizabeth, Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Clinton R. Diefenderfer Funeral Home, 1064 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. Call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
