GEORGIA -- Funeral services for Bertie M. Deal, 95, of Lilburn, Ga., were held at 1 p.m. today, Tues., Nov. 23, at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Snellville, Ga. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 24 at Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Deal died on Sun., Nov. 21, 1999, in Lilburn.
She was born on Oct. 5, 1904, in Putnam County to the late Ben and Donie Shoemake Blair. Mrs. Deal was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Her family includes three daughters and sons-in-law,
three sons and two daughters-in-law, a daughter-in-law, a sister, 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 10
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy E. Deal; and a son, Kenneth Deal.
