Lt. William E. Hamilton USN/Ret., born in Hoboken, NJ, age 91, resided in San Antonio, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Lt. Hamilton retired from the U.S. Navy in 1971. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. A lifetime member of the Gypsy MC known as Hambone. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lucille Corcoran; granddaughter, Kelly-Catherine Hamilton Zimmerman. Survived by his sons, Raymond Hamilton and wife, Carmen; and James W. Hamilton and wife, Joanna; daughter, Madeline Zimmerman; grandchildren, Michael, Natalie, Melanie and husband, Robert, Scott and wife, Dara, Jennifer, Mia and Baby Lillian who is due in May; three great grandchildren; lady friend, Brenda Wilson and husband, Pat; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 9th from 5:30 pm-9:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough. ROSARY, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2016, 7:30 P.M., PORTER LORING CHAPEL. SERVICE, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2016, 12:00 NOON, PORTER LORING CHAPEL. Interment in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
