Hallie Norman, age 76, R. R. 1, Lizton, was dead on arrival at the Hendricks County Hospital, August 30.
A native of Big Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Powell Owens. She was well-known in the Lizton community where she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Final rites were Saturday afternoon from the Weaver Memorial Home, Brownsburg, with the Rev. Raymond Rader officiating. Burial was in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery.
Survivors include four children: Phyllis Jackson, Lizton; Eva Viehe, Sheridan; Betty Wiley, Brownsburg; and Robert Oscar and Wayne Norman, both of Indianapolis; four half brothers and sisters, Vickie Lairson and Celia Parker, both of Westport; John Owens, North Vernon; and Mark Owens, Indianapolis; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
