EDWARD L. BAILEY, JR.

Edward L. Bailey, Jr., 72, 915 N. 10th St., died at home Tuesday, April 28, after an extended illness.

Born Aug. 26, 1914, in Goff, KS, he was the son of Edward and Ida May Bailey.

His wife, Grace, preceded him in death, April 10, 1987.

He retired from the Nicholson File Co. in Anderson in 1977. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Elwood Moose Lodge, and the 50 Plus Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Hubbartt of Elwood; a son, the Rev. Larry Bailey of Frankfort, his mother, Ida May Bailey of Elwood; a brother, Jack Bailey of Elwood; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dunnichay Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Finley officiating. Entombment will be in the Elwood Mauseleum. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church through the funeral home.
