Wilson W. Johnson, 60, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015.
Wilson was born on August 24, 1955, in Tacoma, Washington, to the late Rader and Iris Haslam Johnson. After graduating high school, with great pleasure, Wilson enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he honorably served our country until his retirement. During his service in the United States Air Force, he obtained his Bachelor's Degree.
Wilson enjoyed playing and coaching softball. He loved his children and grandchildren with all of his heart. He had a deep love for the Seattle Seahawks. Even when the Seattle Seahawks had a 4-12 record in 1980, Wilson was their number one fan.
Along with his parents; his son, Aaron J. Johnson; and his brother, Phillip Johnson, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Jason A. Johnson of Spokane, Washington, Adam J. Johnson of El Paso, Texas, Jessica A. Thompson (J.J.) of Spokane, Washington; grandsons, Madden and Bennett Thompson; the love of his life, Laureen Johnson of Warner Robins, Georgia; siblings, Burton Johnson (Carolyn) of Puyallup, Washington, Eleanor Munro (Allan) of Seattle, Washington, Caryl Sousa (Jim) of Spokane, Washington, Delpha Pike (Ed) of Tacoma, Washington, Rosemary Harter (Richard) of Suffolk, Virginia, Louis Johnson (June) of El Centro, California, Ernie Johnson (Maurine) of Edmonds, Washington; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Wilson W. Johnson to The Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
