Jeffrey J. "Jeff" Staddler, age 60, a resident of Sun Prairie, WI., died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison.

He was born on June 9, 1955 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Dorothy (Kohlbeck) and Richard Staddler. Richard preceded Jeff in death January, 2000. His loving mother, Dorothy preceded Jeff in death April, 2011. Jeff was educated in Manitowoc schools; Sacred Heart School, Wilson Junior High, and graduated with the Class of 1973 of Lincoln High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Silver Lake College in May, 1977. He taught at St. Andrew, St. Francis de Sales, and St. Frances Cabrini Middle Schools in Manitowoc and St. Joseph Middle School in Appleton. He earned a Masters of Educational Administration degree from Marian College in 2000. He was named principal of Catholic Central School in Appleton in 2005 and at Most Precious Blood Catholic School in 2010. He loved teaching and being principal. Jeff retired in 2013 due to disability. He relocated to Sun Prairie, WI to be near his niece and family. When he lived in Manitowoc, he also performed with various theater and church groups. Jeff was an audience favorite. He also worked part-time as a bartender when he lived in Manitowoc.

Survivors include one sister: Maureen (Dell) Riebe, Manitowoc; one nephew: Karl (Maria) Riebe and their daughters: Kristin, Emily, and Allyson, Abrams, WI; one niece: Kara (Charlie) Ponti and their sons: Sam and Matthew, Marshall, WI; godchildren: Dr. Carrie Brazzale, Reedsville and Cameron Connolly, Appleton. Other relatives, friends and many colleagues also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and relatives - most especially his aunt and godmother: Marion Lenz in 2006.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 S. 21st Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier. Cremation will occur after the service at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Jeffrey will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 S. 21st Street) Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2016 until 10:45 a.m.
