Vera Turner, 85, of Seth Turner Road passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was preceded in death by her daughter JoAnn Turner Barrow and her parents Raymond Rogers and Annie Shepard Rogers.
Vera is survived by her husband, Calvin Coolidge Turner, Sr. of the home; sons, Thomas Turner and wife Angela of Albertson, and C.C. Turner, Jr. and wife Penny of Albertson; daughters, Joy Turner of Pink Hill and Faye Thompson and husband Gary of Sneads Ferry; sisters, Alice Wells of Goldsboro and Martha Brock and husband John Everett of Pink Hill; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Pink Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with burial following at the Turner Family Cemetery in Albertson.
