Erma A. Stevens 1922-2012
Erma A Stevens, 90, of Forest Dale Home and formerly of Hopewell Hill passed away on September 11th, 2012 at the Nursing Home with her family by her side.
Erma was born in Curryville, NB on January 3rd, 1922 the daughter of the late James and Addie (Steeves) Milburn. Erma was a founding member of the Hopewell Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and gardening. Erma took great pride in being a housewife and raising her family. She loved her family very much and had a special place in her heart for all her children and grandchildren. They each have their own special memories with Erma they will cherish.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters; sons; her treasured grandchildren; precious great granchildren; sister; brother. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeaceased by her beloved husband, Melvin Stevens; daughters, Joan Cheyne and Myrna Stevens; brother, Hally Milburn.
She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Friday eveing from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept 15th, 2012 at 2:00pm with Pastor Barry Hubley officiating. Following the service the family will be meeting for further fellowship and for refreshments at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill.
Donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
