Mrs Sophia Poland
Mt Savage - Mrs Sophia Poland, 77, widow to T Price Poland, died yesterday morning at her residence on Mt Savage Road. She had been ill several weeks. A daughter of the late John and Ellen Findlay Hinkle(Henckel), she was a charter member and past patron of Rebekah Arnold Chapter No 57 Order of Eastern Star. Mrs Poland also belong to the Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Harry and John Poland, Mt Savage; a sister, Mrs Elizabeth Barth, Dundalk; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. The body is at the home. Rites will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Mt Savage Methodist Church with Rev C W Hall, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St George's Episcopal Cemetery.
