James Timothy Ames II, age 23, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died Thursday, December 3, 1970 in a Tulsa hospital following injuries he received Wednesday in a one car automobile accident near Tulsa.
He was born June 22, 1947 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of James Timothy and Willow Dean (Poisall) Ames.
He graduated from Springdale High School, Class of 1966, and attended Arkansas Tech University 1966-1968.
He worked for Amsco Hospital Equipment, repairing hospital electronic equipment.
He was a Methodist.
He is survived by his parents of Springdale; a brother, Kenneth Melvin Ames of the home; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Snodgrass of Houston, Texas; and his paternal grandmother, Mary Kathryn Ames of Springdale.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday,December 5, 1970 at Sisco Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, in Fayetteville.
