Mt. Savage, Md., Oct. 15—Funeral services for T. Price Poland, 67, who died suddenly at his home
Thursday morning, following an illness of several months, will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. G. D. Sampson will officiate. Interment will be in St. George's Protestant Episcopal Cemetery. Mr. Poland was a son of the late Harrison and Lavina Poland. He entered the service of the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad Company in November, 1890, and later became a locomotive engineer. He retired November 1, 1929. He then built and operated what Is known as the Poland service station, Main street, now In charge of his sons. He was a member of Scottish Rites Masons and of the Junior Order United American Mechanics. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sophia Henckel Poland, two sons, Harry and John Poland, at home, and three granddaughters, Dorthine, Margaret and Janet Poland.
