Mr. Rex Cook was born July 30, 1953 in Green County, KY to the late V.L. and Frances Gentry Cook. He departed this life Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home in Green County , having attained the age of sixty-two years, five months and twenty-four days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. He worked for Dart Container.

He is survived by his wife Yvonne Denise Bagby Cook, two daughters and one son-in-law: Sara Sluder and Troy of Greensburg and Amy Cook of Boone County, KY and one son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Nancy Milby Tucker of Summersville, one sister and brother-in-law: Teresa and Victor Matney of Greensburg, his mother-in-law: Florine Bagby of Greensburg, five grandchildren: Alec, Braeden, Rylee, Harley and Kayla and 2 special little buddies: Jordan Kate Faulkner and Greer Milby.

Place and Time of Funeral: Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home - 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2016.

Visitation: after 4 p.m. Tuesday and after 7 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
Interment In: Fry Baptist Church Cemetery in the Fry Community of Green County.

Pallbearers: Harvey Beauchamp, Mike Kelly, Jerry Corbin, Gary Frog Smith, J.L. Curry, Leroy Campbell.
Honorary Pallbearers: Gary Bagby, Wendell Sullivan, John Bediford, Joey Clark, Wayne Allen Clark, Doug Clark, Royce Clark, Ronnie Russell, James Clark and Olen Bagby.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Fry Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
