She was born in Chattanooga, TN on June 1, 1917 to Joseph and Sally Webb. She had lived in Trenton for the past twenty years, moving here from Boardman, FL. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Welch is preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Welch. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Anne (Ben) Bennett, of Trenton; her sons, David (Vivian) Welch of Trenton, William "Billy" Welch of Perry and Winfred "Wimpy" (Linda) Welch of Trenton and her sisters, Helen Coppock of PA and Christine Wood of Gainesville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
