Cynthia (Hoffman) Morin was born on June 15, 1938 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and she was the daughter of Samuel C "Sam" Hoffman (1911-1994) and his wife Dorothy (Mencow) Hoffman (1913-2005).
She was married about 1958 to Richard M Morin (1936-2015), and he was the son of Israel Samuel Morin (1904-1989) and Edythe (Roth) Morin (1907-1985).
A devoted friend and lifelong volunteer, Cynthia was a past Board Chair of the Jewish Federation of Nashville, past President of Congregation Micah and a past member of the Metropolitan Davidson County School Board.
A resident of Nashville, Tennessee, she was 77 years old when she passed away on February 3, 2016.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband and by her parents, while survivors included a married daughter; married son; four grandchildren; and a sister.
Funeral Services were held at Congregation Micah on Old Hickory Boulevard in Brentwood, and burial was there in the cemetery.
