Early in her career, she worked at the City Office for the City of Caribou. Later, she worked for many years as an office nurse for various doctors, including Dr. H. Douglas Collins, Dr. Robert Hazard, Dr. Carol Armatis, and dear friends Dr. Elizabeth Weiss and Dr. David Clement.
Marilyn is survived by her companion of 24 years, Roscoe McIntosh of Caribou; a son, Kent Cousins and his wife Patricia of Limestone; a daughter, Kim Perreault and her husband Steve of Caribou; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Kevin and Kyle Cousins, and a brother Donald Merritt.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
