Paulette Rogers of Port St. Joe went home to her heavenly Father Sunday, January 31, 2016.

She was born November 16, 1929 in Washington County, Florida to Allie and John B. Griffin.

Her life was defined by her love for her family, her church and church family. She always loved to paint and described life as a painting.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother J. C. Griffin, her sisters, Orene Rossiburgh and Lena Ellisor.

Survivors include her husband of sixty nine years Howard Rogers; two sons, Johnny Rogers and wife Teresa of Blakely Georgia and Jimmy Rogers and wife Donna of Port St. Joe; two grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; three sisters, Catherine Worthington of Chipley, Shirley Street and husband Jack of Panama City and Elvie Harden; two brothers, Gene and wife Liz Griffin of Freeport and Buford and wife Ruth Griffin of Port St. Joe.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at United Pentecostal Church on 6th Street in Port St. Joe at 11:00 a.m.EST. With the Rev.Chris Richardson and the Rev. Larry Wells officiating. The visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Wausau Cemetery in Wausau Florida.
