Rachel Yvone Waites Carpenter White, age 82 of Wilmar, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at her home.

She was born July 8, 1933 in Rye, AR to the late John Henry Waites and Vera Elizabeth Rhodes Waites.

She was a retired manager of Cracker Box and a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Billy Carol Carpenter; one son, Danny Carroll Carpenter; one brother, John Waites; two grandsons, Mikey Lee Reed and Daniel Carpenter.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. R. V. White of Possum Valley; three daughters, Karen Donaldson and husband Art of Van Buren, Lesa Etheredge and husband Bobby of Wilmar and Elaine Mitchell and husband Brent of Warren; one step son, Bill White of Monticello; two sisters, Tommie Wilson of New Hope and Sybil D. Sulephen of El Dorado; a sister-in-law, Martha Waites of Monticello; a daughter in law, Olivia Carpenter of Monticello; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, a large extended family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with
