WELLSVILLE - Lois Ann Carr, 83, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Salem Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 8, 1932, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Albert and Pauline (Thompson) Green. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death on May 18, 1984, by her husband, Kenneth R. Carr, whom she married September 7, 1951, and in 1977 by a son, Jeff Carr.
Lois graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1950. She was previously employed at the Radio Grill and as a cashier at Walmart. She was a member of Wellsville First Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter: Tammy Welch of Columbiana; seven sons: Kenny Carr of Wellsville, Terry Carr and his wife, Julie, of Wellsville, Dan Carr and his wife, Sue, of Wellsville, Douglas Carr and his wife, Susie, of Wellsville, John Carr and his wife, Nancy, of Beaver Falls, PA, Scott Carr and his wife, Enma, of Frisco, TX, and Jason Carr and his wife, Beth, of Frisco, TX; and one sister: Bonnie Wetzel and her husband, Ken, of New Manchester, WV. Also surviving are twenty-two grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
