RAY, Warren Howard
Warren was born in Clarion, Pa., on October 27, 1921, youngest of four children. He passed away in Carmichael on June 30, 2010. He is survived by his daughter Barbara Burr and son-in-law Jim Burr, grandchildren Darren Burr and Sarah Simon, her husband Gabriel Simon, and two great-grandchildren, Amanda and Zachary Simon. Warren was preceded in death by his wife Louise, to whom he was married for 57 years, his mother Mary, father Garry, siblings Bill and Al Ray, and Esther Johnson. Warren also is survived by sisters-in-law Helen and Iva Ray. He also has many dear nieces and nephews. Warren worked as a quality control specialist at McClellan AFB. Viewing and services will be on July 7 at the NORTH SACRAMENTO FUNERAL HOME, 725 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95815. Viewing will be from 9 - 10:30 a.m., followed by services at the same location. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 7101 Verner Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95841. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Association, c/o Sacramento Chapter, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
