NELSON, E. VERNON passed away on January 12, 2016.
Vern was born on July 4,1934 as the 4th child to Ernest & Eunice Nelson in Missoula, Montana. Following his service in the USMC from 1953 to 1956, he attended
Sacramento State College and UCLA where he obtained a degree as BA resp. MBA.
He then worked in So. CA for many years until his employment as a contracts administrator took him to Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Norway and Egypt until his retirement
in 1993. He was fascinated by other cultures and enjoyed the experience of living in foreign countries. Vern was an avid reader; he loved to attend jazz concerts as well as NHL hockey games, Formula One auto racing and air-shows, together with his sons.
Vern is survived by his loving wife Ulla and sons Gunnar and Bret.
