Peter Duras was my father. He died at a young age 44 when I was 7 years old. I remember my father loving my sisters and I very much. He fought in World War II and was wounded in the Pacific theater of the war. He was a good husband and father. My father was a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He had a heart attack which took his life.
