INJURIES FATAL TO GRACE CUNNINGHAM
Young Woman Victim of Motordrome Tragedy Dies in Hospital

WITH MOTHER TILL END
Other Spectators Who Were Hurt Thursday Night Are Doing Well

Without recovering consciousness, and after lingering for more than ninety hours at the portals that lead from this world, Miss Grace Cunningham, 17 years of age, fatally injured at the Wandamere motordrome accident on the night of July 4, died yesterday afternoon at 5:45 o'clock, at St. Mark's hospital. At her bedside, to the last, sat her mother, hoping and praying that she might at least again hear in tones of love and recognition the voice of the devoted companion of her widowed years, but the clouds never lifted.
LOVABLE CHARACTER
Miss Cunningham was born in Salt Lake, January 16, 1895. She was a graduate of the Emerson school and of Henager's Business college, both of this city. For a time she was employed as a stenographer by the Consolidated Music company, 13-19 East First South Street. She was a girl who loved home and its attractions, caring not for gayety that might be a source of worry to the mother whom she loved to the point of never failing thoughtfullness and consideration. She had gone to the races with a girl friend, Miss Betty Jensen, 1229 Eighth East street, who sitting by the side of her ill-fated companion, miraculously escaped with a bruised arm and a broken nose.
TO BE BURIED MONDAY
The funeral of Miss Cunningham will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Phillips Congregational church. The Rev. P. A. Simpkin will conducted the services, and the Fred Graham quartette will furnish music. Interment will be private in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The body is being prepared for burial by Undertaker S. D. Evans.
After the death of her daughter, Mrs. Cunningham, together with her son Harvey, went to the home of her sister, Mrs. E. W. Wall, at 309 East South Temple street, where she is among loved ones who strive to make lighter the load of her grief.
Arthur L. Campbell, who next to Miss Cunningham was the most seriously hurt among the onlookers, is reported to be doing as well as could be expected. He is still at St. Mark's hospital. Of the others injured, all are out of danger.
The funeral of Harry G. Davis, who was killed, will be held today at 12 o'clock at the Second ward church. Interment will be in the City Cemetery.
