He was a WW II veteran of the US Army receiving a purple heart and a current member of Disabled American Veterans of Lexington.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 yrs., Mary Bruce Ball; a brother, Roscoe Ball, Jr.; two sisters, Betty (Max) Robinson and Pauline Ball; a step-daughter, Rita Hensley Whitacre (Jerome); a step-daughter-in-law, Carol Hensley Bradfield; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

No service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Disabled Veterans of America. Milward-Southland is serving the family.
