She was the daughter of the late Wilton Allen and Kara Keaton Bannister born on May 1st, 1935 in Anderson, SC. She was a member of Orville Baptist Church for several years. She attended McCants School. Mrs. Drake was described by her family as the kindest and most loving person they knew. Attending church and going to worship was one of her favorite activities.
Mrs. Drake is survived by her loving husband of 54 years: Richard “Dick” Drake of Anderson, two sons: Todd Drake of Maurice, LA and Andy Drake of Anderson; three sisters: Margaret Gibson, Mary Hurt and husband Lee, and Vivian DuBaere all of Anderson; two grandchildren: Tori Drake and Kyle Drake and fiancé Lacey; and one great grandchild: Ian Kale Drake.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Drake was preceded in death by one brother: Kenneth Bannister.
Interment: New Silver Brook Cemetery in Anderson.
