EMINENT JURIST CALLED.
Judge Orlando W. Powers Succumbs to Attack of Pneumonia.

Salt Lake City – Orlando W. Powers, former associate justice of the supreme court of Utah under appointment of President Cleveland and one of the most eminent jurists of Utah died Friday morning at 6:15 at his home, "Lingerlonger," in Popperton Place. Death was due to pneumonia, following an illness of a few days.

Judge Powers was born at Pultneyville, N. Y., June 16, 1851. He had gained national reputation as a lawyer, and was a leader in the Democratic party.
