Paul Michael Lewis, age 56, of Las Cruces passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 25, 1959 in Brownsville, TN to Joseph Paul and Nancy Rebecca Dickerson Lewis. Paul served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was an Environmental Health Director. He was a member of Phi Mu Alpha and AMSUS.
Those left to mourn his passing include his wife, Chanpa Allen-Lewis of the family home; three sons, Shawn Lewis of Baton Rouge, LA, Rudy Allen and Jayden Brownfield; three daughters, Samara Erickson, Felisha Toquinto and Kendra McKinney; his father, Joseph Paul Lewis of Brownsville, TN. Other survivors include one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother; his first wife, Melisa Ward-Lewis.
Visitation for Paul will begin at 2 PM Thursday, February 4, 2016 in Church Triumphant, 2020 N. Valley Drive where the Funeral Service is scheduled for 3 PM with Pastor Marcus McKay officiating. Military honors will be accorded by a United States Navy Honor Guard. A Graveside Service will be held in Alamo, TN at a later date.
