Born on March 25, 1929 in Edgecombe County, she was the daughter of the late George W. Rawls and Effie Harrison Rawls, and was the widow of Eugene Ray Holland.
Lib was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Henderson where she served as Vestry Clerk for many years and was a devoted member of the Altar Guild. She was a teacher assistant with the Vance County Schools.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 3 pm at Randall United Methodist Church Cemetery in Norwood.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Gene Holland Hinson and husband, Don of Norwood; two grandchildren, Matthew Gene Hinson and wife, Lisa and Elizabeth Hinson Pope and husband, Kyle of Oakboro and one great grandson, Preston Rawls Pope; and beloved family members, Julie Breedlove Kelly and husband, Kevin and their children, Colin and Jennifer.
