Dorinda Rae Allen, 33, of 301 E. Van Buren St., Columbia City, died at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 1988, at her residence. She had been ill with cancer since November of 1987.
Miss Allen was born Sept. 27, 1954, in Columbia City, to Larry L. and Marcia I.(Slagal)Allen. She spent her childhood in Columbia City and graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1972. Miss Allen lived a short time in Warsaw in 1986 and since 1988 had lived with her parents in Columbia City.
She was a machine operator with United Technologies.
Surviving are her parents; a son, Ty Jacob Allen of Columbia City; her grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Slagal of R 8, Columbia City; two brothers: Kenneth Allen of Columbia City and Randy Allen of Columbia City; and a sister, Mrs. Bryan(Zina)Corkwell of Fort Wayne, In.
