Donald E. Henley Sr. passed away on Jan. 29th, 2016, at home surrounded by family.

Don was born on Aug. 27th, 1926, to Charles and Blanche Henley. He was the fourth child of seven.

His mother died when he was seven. Don and his siblings were placed in the Missouri Baptist Children's Home,in Saint Louis. Don was later placed in the home of Ben and Lucy Veale, in Iantha, Mo.

He joined the Navy during World War II, he served in the Pacific. Upon discharge he married Pansy Reddish, in 1947. They were happily married for 69 years.

Don is survived by Pansy and three children, Sheila McClellan, Starke, Fla., David Henley, Springfield, Mo., and Don Henley Jr., Webb City, Mo. He has five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed making a living by ranching in Bronaugh and Jerico Springs., Mo. He was a well respected cattle buyer for many years.
