GERALDINE L. BUBB , 101, of Clayton, died Wednesday evening (Jan. 14, 2015), at the Timber Point Health Care Center in Camp Point, where she had been a resident for the past 10 years. Geraldine was a remarkable and fun loving lady who enjoyed life. Mrs. Bubb was born in Baylis on Sept. 22, 1913, a daughter of Oney and Lucy Mink. She married William Dewey Bubb in Bowling Green, Mo., on June 7, 1934. She was a member of the Clayton Federated Church in Clayton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Bubb, on Jan. 27, 1961; her parents and a brother, Leaton Mink. She is survived by two nieces, Reva Sue Bubb Koenig of St. Charles, MO., and Connie Bubb Fidler of Bonsall, Calif. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton conducted by Pastor Charla Meyers. Burial will be in Baylis Cemetery. Visitation: There is no visitation, but friends are invited to the service. Memorials: Timber Point Health Care Center, Camp Point. Arrangements: Hamilton Funeral Home, Clayton.
