Harry M. Cochran, 81, of Templeton died Sunday, March 16, 2003 in Butler County Memorial Hospital. He was born July 23, 1921 in North Point to Violet (Cochran) Humble.

Mr. Cochran was retired from Eljer Manufacturing.
An Army veteran, he participated in the Normandy Invasion during World II, where he received the Purple Heart.

He was a member of the Templeton Wesleyan Methodist Church.
His other memberships were the Pine Creek Sportmen's Club, Pine Township Volunteer Fire Department and Templeton Rod & Gun Club. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and going to flea markets.

Survivors include one son, Richard Cochran of Widnoon; two daughters, Mrs. James (Loretta) Robinson of Templeton RD1 and Mrs. James (Darla) McGuire of Butler; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters of Ohio.He was preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Eva (Musser) Cochran, who died in 1989; and one sister.

COCHRAN — Friends of Harry M. Cochran, 81, of Templeton, who died March 16, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with his pastor, the Rev. Tom Zimmerman, officiating. Burial will be in Cochran Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
