Funeral services for Alvin O. Spain, 48, a longtime resident of the Sundeen district, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the Gardendale Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. D. Christian, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Aberdeen Cemetery under the direction of the Cage-Mills Funeral Home.
Spain died about 2:15 p.m. Saturday at a local hospital.
He was a produce buyer and had lived here since 1918.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Jean Spain of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Mrs. C. H. Boland, also of Corpus Chirsti, Mrs. R. L. Vincent of Austin, and Mrs. Raymond Itz of La Feria.
