Mrs. Hicks, 55, of Rappahannock Academy, went to be with her heavenly father on her birthday while surrounded by her family. Rhonda and her husband operated Betty's Inn (the family store) and Hick's Landing, while raising their two sons. She had a love for children and enjoyed working as a teacher's aide at Bowling Green Primary. Rhonda also enjoyed gardening, antiquing, watching birds and shopping with her sisters. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Maureen and Regina and her father in law, Wirt "Junior" Hicks. Rhonda was survived by her loving husband of 31 years - the love of her life, her two sons, her mom and dad, her two sisters, her mother in law, and many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law. Rhonda will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her. A funeral service was to have been held on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, in the interment pavilion at Greenlawn Cemetery, Bowling Green.
