SHELBY CLARK SPEARS of Orlando, FL died at home - he was the son of Homer Lucien and Cora Hooten Spears. He graduated from Orlando High, was a WWII, Captain in the U.S. Army, had a career as a mortgage banking executive and was an elder in the Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by his 1st wife and mother of his children, Eleanor Kirker Spears; 2nd wife, Barbara J Spears and brother, Glen, surviving are his wife of 32 years, Jean T Spears; children, Glen (Lisa) Spears; Shelley (George) McMillan; grandchildren, Shelby (Chris) Carroll, Samuel (Layne) Spears and Eleanor McMillan and great-granddaughter, Meg Spears. A Celebration of Life will be held February 5,2016 at the First Presbyterian Church in Orlando with a private burial following. Baldwin Fairchild-Ivanhoe in Orlando is serving the family.
