Born on January 7, 1959 in Onslow County, he was a son of Patricia “Pat” Foster, of Richlands and the late Murrill Kendall Foster. He worked as a dump truck driver and was an avid UNC Tarheels Fan.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Camellia “Meitzi” Foster, of the home; a son, Shannon Ray Foster, of Jacksonville; a daughter, Denell Kitko and husband Bobby, of Jacksonville; two brothers, Michael Foster, of Richlands, Phillip Foster and wife Claire, of Concord; a sister, Susan Penuel and husband Ronnie, of Comfort; and three grandchildren, Ryan Kitko, Ethan Foster, and Chase Foster.
Visitation will be 6 pm until 8 pm Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with Revs. Drew Parker and Mike Jarman officiating. Entombment will follow in Onslow Memorial Park.
