WIllie Lee Vaughn of Iron City, TN was born Saturday February 11, 1933 in Florence, AL the son of the late Willie Lee Vaughn and Lillie Tisha McClain. He was united in marriage to Brenda on Monday August 5, 1963. Mr. Vaughn departed this life on Monday February 1, 2016 at his home at the age of 82 Years. He was a member of the Church of God.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Vaughn of Iron City, TN; three daughters, Robbie Risner of Waynesboro, TN, Regina Vaughn Dixon and husband Randall of Waynesboro, TN, Sarah Vaughn Blalock and husband Scottie of Collinwood, TN; four sons, Nathan Vaughn and wife Georgie of Savannah, TN, Anthony Micheal Vaughn of Iron City, TN, Patrick Vaughn and companion Carla ,and WIllie Lee Vaughn Jr. and wife Kim of Collinwood, TN; sixteen grandchildren, Shane, Carlton, Tea, and Sunni Risner, Autumn Pulley, Lauren Nolan, Katlyn and Anna Vaughn, Destiny, Cambreea, Jacob, Landon, Adam, and Lexi Dixon,Lacy and Dylan Martin, Brittany Duncan and Tyler Blalock, two great grandchildren, Hinder and Hatten Morrow.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by a son, Danny Wayne Vaughn; a brother, J.W. Vaughn; and a sister, Ruth Vaughn May.
Services will be Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Collinwood Church of God with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Vaughn Family Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, directing. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 PM and 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
