Barry Scott Reed, age 54, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, January 31, 2016. Scott was a dedicated IBEW worker for 36 years, and a member of Local Union 760. He was an avid Elvis fan and was very proud of the contests he won singing Elvis.

Preceded in death by grandmother, Cleta Mae (Mother); and grandfather, Arthur Palmer (Ott). Survived by wife, LaDonna Reed; mother, Hazel Mowery; father, Clarence Reed; brother, Doug Reed; children, Brittany McCarter, Eddie Snyder, and Nicole Coffey; two grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, and nieces. He will be greatly missed by friends and family with a special mention of Miah, the joy of his life; longtime childhood friend, Jeffrey; and Shaggy's niece, Keegan.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Carpenter officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 PM on Friday at Pratts Chapel Cemetery for a 1:00 PM interment.
