LAKE WALES -- Mr. Hubert Caldwell of Lake Wales died of heart failure Saturday (Aug. 2, 2003) at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 74.
Born in Harlan, Ky., on Feb. 24, 1929, he came to Lake Wales from Naples in 2002. He was a machinist for GE. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Caldwell is survived by his wife, Ruby Caldwell; daughters, Delores Smith, North Carolina, Deborah Kay Ciardullo, Winter Haven; sons, Michael Wayne Caldwell, Naples, Terry Eugene Caldwell, Cape Coral; brothers, Eugene Caldwell, Luther Caldwell, both of Kentucky, Vestle Caldwell, Ohio; sister, Reva Baker, Ohio; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Hodges Funeral Chapel, Naples. Memorial services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Naples Memorial Gardens, Naples.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Tampa Bay Chapter, 9265 U.S. Highway 19 N., Suite B, Pinellas Park, FL 33782.
